About Caddy

Dancer, Choreographer, Mentor

At the age of 5 I was inspired to move by the dancers and the music on Much Music and BET. I began dancing more and more and this journey took me down a creative career path that has allowed me to continue to dance as a professional. Dance has truly helped me to express myself in ways that words just could not and I wish to share my passion and enthusiasm both inside and outside the dance industry.

After about 5 years of training I started to perform for community events and school programming, which became my full time hobby. During this time I was always thinking about my future and what I was going to do as my career. At this point I never thought it could be DANCE. I had booked my first musical when I was in high school and I couldn’t believe that I was getting payment for doing what I loved.

MY STORY

I continued on to University for Social Work and joined the hip hop team where I was able to further explore dance and integrate myself into the Toronto dance community.

During this time I was given several job opportunities to dance professionally sharing my talent with a variety of dancers and audiences. This is when I knew that Dance will not only be my hobby but also my CAREER. Once I finished school I was able to dedicate my time to train even harder to prepare myself for a successful career in the dance industry and that is what I did..

Creating and Performing dance have been true healers for me in my journey, allowing me to channel my emotions, share my stories/experiences and connect deeper to myself and to others. After experiencing the true power of dance and what it could bring to my life, I felt inspired to share this with others, which is why I began teaching classes and mentoring students. Through dance I am healing, growing, expressing, connecting, staying strong/fit, and having fun.

SOUND HEALING

I can certainly say that I have always been on a healing journey. In March 2023 I began my warrior journey, which lead me to explore other healing modalities. In May, I had attended a healing retreat where I experienced a sound bath for the very first time.

This experience felt magical, uplifting, energizing and it inspired me. I felt a calling to explore sound healing further and so I signed up for courses in Toronto and Ottawa.

My mission is to create a safe and comfortable space for healing by using sound and I intend to do just that.
